Sandro Perri continues to refine his style (in this particular guise) whilst subtly extending its parameters.
Guitar to to the fore, Soft Landing, especially its epic first track, reminds me of Van Morrison's Astral Weeks, if a David Gilmour (in the most mellow of moods) had played guitar on it.
A supine bath of an album, it ebbs and flows with a Spring-fused warmth, all cut grass and flowers beginning to bloom.
A blissful, meditative journey of an album. Timeless, really.
Favorite track: Time (You Got Me).
